Digital Impressions
Where a traditional denture workflow involves taking a physical impression which is then poured up in plaster to make a model of a patient's mouth, we are increasingly able to do away with this messy and uncomfortable step by taking intra oral 3D scans.

This can be a huge advantage, not just for patient comfort, but also for recording impressions without the risk of accidentally extracting loose teeth, and has been particularly useful for partial and immediate dentures.

While we still see many cases that require a traditional impression, we are working to move toward a digital workflow wherever possible.
